Jackie is beginning the 4th year of her PhD in the UC Davis Agricultural and Environmental Chemistry graduate group. Her research focuses on microplastic distribution in aquatic systems and the toxicity of 6PPD-quinone, a contaminant in tire wear particles, to threatened and endangered fish from the San Francisco Bay-Delta. She is a member of the UC Davis One Health Institute, where she works at the interface of animals, people, and the environment to solve complex problems impacting health and conservation. Jackie is also on the executive team for the Northern California Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (NorCal SETAC).
